The company has been developing and acquiring senior-oriented facilities since 2006. They are focused on full senior care including programs for independent and assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care. They have covered over forty facilities costing over $400 million.
Legend HealthCare is a partner of Javelin Group when it comes to providing quality senior care. They have a network of medical professionals who are trained and certified to provide inpatient skilled nursing care, outpatient therapy and rehabilitation, and long-term care.
Currently, the two big names are building a 60,000-square foot and 121-bed senior rehabilitation and living center in Waxahachie City. The center is being built by Oklahoma-based Donica Construction, and was designed by Jordan & Associates from Arkansas. The facility is expected to open this year, and will open hundreds of new jobs for locals.
The new senior care and rehab facility will feature a courtyard design with private resident rooms. It will also have a large therapy gym, an observation room, activity areas, multiple dinging halls, and common living areas.
